Özet

In a rapidly changing hospitality industry, the ability to adapt to new trends, technologies, and market dynamics is crucial. Thus, intrapreneurship is an important element to make the difference in the development of the hospitality businesses. The term intrapreneurship in organizations is used to explain the creation of solutions for challenges facing the firm, the development of new products, services or new ways of dealing with existing or new customers. Intrapreneurial activities of employees include initiation, risk taking, and ideation or coming up with new ideas. Intrapreneurship is considered organizational and individual behavioral phenomenon. Organization differ with regard to the level of intrapreneurship through organizational culture. Organizational culture is a system of values that are perceived by all people in the organization. This study aims to examine the impact of organizational culture on the level of intrapreneurship. The data was collected 150 hospitality employees from Kocaeli and İstanbul, Turkey. The correlation and regression analyses were conducted. The result demonstrated that intrapreneurship is correlated with organizational culture. This study has potential to enrich the management literature and to give the suggestions for practioners. Keywords: Intrapreneurship, Organizational Culture, Hospitality Organizations
