EARLY EDUCATION REMOTE LEARNING For several decades UNESCO and the EC have been promoting early
childhood care and education (ECEC), motivating it by the need of advanced development of young children before they
go to school (“Towards High Quality ECEC for every Child in Europe” Key Data on Early Childhood Education and Care in
Europe, 2019). During the lockdown of COVID and the restrictions on in-presence activities, kindergartens and primary
schools were closed and young children locked indoors. While more adult students were able to take advantage of online
lessons, it was more difficult for the little ones to continue "being in school" online. COVID made urgent to offer online
education to 3-7 years has opened an intense worldwide debate among experts, educators, and policymakers on the
opportunity of these new labs for young children. The debate became an urgent appeal on how to use digital technologies
to carry out online activities for young children. Online early education raises special issues: young children who get on
the line always need an adult at their side who can attract them to the educational space and support them (for young
children who cannot read); the way in which activities develop shall be modulated on the psychology of young children;
and a design for safe use of the net. Not always the adults who follow the young children possess the skills to organize the
online connection and support them on the platforms. On their side, teachers and tutors of kindergartens and of primary
schools never found themselves in the need to offer online courses to their young students. The project is addressed to
undergraduates of Science of Education, teachers, Stakeholders; also parents, families in order to provide them with
basic competencies to assist their young children in remote learning activities. Recognizing the potential of ICT in early
childhood education, some of the tutorial content will be devoted to coding and educational robotics courses (computer
