Özet

Trichosporon species usually cause superficial skin infections, however, they are capable of being an opportunistic invasive infectious agent in immunosuppressed patients especially with hematologic malignancies and solid organ tumors, or who are transplant recipients. Treatment of patients with trichosporonosis is problematic due to limited data on antifungal agents used. In this report, we present the combined antifungal therapy responses in two patients diagnosed as invasive trichosporonosis developed on the ground of hematologic malignancy during the reconstruction and renovation period of our hospital.
