In our laboratory, the cytotoxic and genotoxic effects of chemicals and environmental pollutants are investigated using various model organisms. Among the model organisms used; there are Elodea canadensis, Allium cepa, Vicia faba, Glycine max, Pisum sativum, Zea mays, Begonia semperflorens, Hyacinthus orientalis, Eisenia fetida. In this context, research is carried out on plant physiology, genetics, anatomy, morphology, cell biology and biochemistry. In our research; methods such as RT-PCR, PCR, gel electrophoresis and imaging, comet assay and spectrophotometry are applied.
