Samet Diri graduated from the Computer Teaching, and Computer Engineering Departments, Kocaeli University, respectively in 2011 and 2018, the M.Sc degree from the Computer Engineering Department, Kocaeli University, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree from the Computer Engineering Department, Kocaeli University, in 2023. From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a Software Developer at the Medical School of Kocaeli University. In 2017, he started to work as a Specialist at the Student Affairs Department at Kocaeli University. He is currently working as a Lecturer in Computer Research Department at Kocaeli University. His research fields include heuristic optimization, data reduction, data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He serves as a scientific referee for journals and conferences.
