Course Content
This course focuses on the design, modeling, and simulation of renewable and hybrid energy systems, covering solar PV, wind, hydropower, energy storage, grid-connected and off-grid configurations, hydrogen energy systems, system optimization, and techno-economic and environmental performance evaluation using advanced simulation tools.
Teaching and Learning Methods:
Lectures with slide presentations and hands-on modeling, simulation, and optimization using HOMER Pro, supported by case studies and student projects.
Teaching Materials and Resources:
Lecture slides, HOMER Pro software, real load and resource data, case study models, and technical reference materials.
