Özet:

In my Ph.D. thesis, titled Vector Dark Matter, I studied the possibility that dark matter may be described by a new vector boson rather than by the more commonly studied scalar or fermionic particles. I developed theoretical models in which a new gauge symmetry and a discrete symmetry make the vector particle stable and therefore a viable dark matter candidate. In this thesis, I investigated the cosmological and phenomenological consequences of vector dark matter, including its relic abundance, possible interactions with the Standard Model through the Higgs sector, direct detection signals, and collider signatures. I also studied how vector dark matter models could explain possible monochromatic photon signals, such as the 130 GeV gamma-ray line and the 3.5 keV X-ray line, through annihilation or decay processes.
