NÜKLEER FİZİK ARAŞTIRMA LABORATUVARI

The Nuclear Physics Research Laboratory was established in 2007 with the project titled “Gamma Spectroscopy: Industrial and Environmental Radioactivity” in 2007 and has built its current infrastructure with other projects. Our laboratory is specialized in Radiation Protection, Environmental Radioactivity and Nuclear Reactions. It has carried out many international and national projects on these subjects, and many Master's and Doctoral theses have been completed. With the devices in our laboratory, many measurements such as radioactivity (U-238, Ra-226, Th-232, K-40, Cs-137) measurements in environmental samples, Radon gas concentration measurements, thickness and radioactivity measurements with Alpha Spectroscopy, gamma absorption coefficient, determination of half-life of isotopes are performed.
