Biography
Cihan ASLAN started her bachelor's degree at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Social Work in 2008. After graduating in 2013, Cihan ASLAN worked as a social worker in a public institution for a short time. Cihan ASLAN started her master's degree at Kocaeli University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Social Work in 2014. In the same year, Cihan ASLAN started to work as a research assistant at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work. In 2017, he successfully defended his master's thesis titled 'The experiences of the spouses of women undergoing breast cancer treatment' and received the title of science specialist. Then, in the same year, he started his doctoral education at Ankara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work and started working as a research assistant at A.U. SBF, Department of Social Work. Since 2019, Cihan ASLAN has been working as a research assistant at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Social Work; completed her PhD thesis titled "Hearing the voice of subjects in migration policies: Migrant-led non-governmental organisations ("The case of Istanbul")" and received her PhD degree.
