Asst. Prof. CİHAN NECMİ GÜNAL

I completed secondary school at Oruç Reis Anatolian High School. I met two and a half years of my high school education at the Heybeliada Naval High School Command and my last semester at Yarımca High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Kocaeli University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, where I am currently a lecturer. I studied at the Università di Genova, Italy, as part of the Erasmus Program during one period of my undergraduate education. Then, I went to Missouri, USA, with the YLSY scholarship from the Republic of Turkey for my master's degree. I received my Master of Public Affairs degree from the Harry Truman School of Public Affairs, University of Missouri-Columbia after completing my master's thesis "City of Columbia Options And Recommendations for Pension Reform". After this education, while working as a research assistant at Kocaeli University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, I have been at Keele University, UK, for my doctorate this time with a scholarship from YÖK. After staying here for two and a half years, I got my doctorate from Kocaeli University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, with the thesis study "THE ROLE OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE ADOPTION OF PUBLIC POLICIES: THE CASE OF THE GREEN CRESENT".
