FATOŞ SU ÖZKARATAŞ / Researcher – Performer  

Fatoş Su Özkarataş, who holds her PhD degree in Dramatic Arts (Interdisciplinary Program), did her doctoral thesis on Neuroscience and Acting. She developed the core concept of the "Somatized Actor," synthesizing 13th-century Eastern wisdom with modern neurobiological findings.

Within the scope of her doctoral studies, she worked with Prof. Rick KEMP, and conducted acting and performance studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 

She holds a bachelor's degree in Theater - Acting and a master's degree in Cinema TV. Fatoş Su Özkarataş, who has acted and directed in different theater companies in Turkey and abroad, is currently teaching acting, directing and diction at Faculty of Fine Arts  affiliated to the University.

Fatoş Su Özkarataş, carries out national and international projects that combine science and art.
