Biography
Özkan Kafadar was born in Erzurum, Turkey, in 1978. He received the B.S. degree and M.S. degree in geophysics engineering from the University of Kocaeli and University of Sakarya, Turkey, in 1999 and 2009, respectively. He received Ph.D. degree in geophysics engineering from the University of Kocaeli in 2015. During his Ph.D. studies, he worked on computer aided multi-channel seismic signal recorder design and data processing. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Construction Technology, University of Kocaeli, Turkey. His current researches are related with hardware and software development for engineering applications, embedded systems, image processing and applied geophysics.
