Composite materials have the final properties, which are combination of the main constituents of matrix and fiber. In order to get target properties, fiber should have unique properties. Fibers are responsible for having superior properties which are important to upgrade the properties of the matrix. In this article, general information about continuous fibers are given, also the contemporary studies about most familiar fibers are focused.
