Klasik Türk şiirinde estetik konulu
birçok çalışma yapılmıştır; ancak şehir üzerine estetik çalışmalara
rastlanmamıştır. Çalışmada, Nâbî Dîvânı’ndaki Osmanlı şehri ve şehirlisi
estetik kuramlar çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Amaç, Osmanlı şehir tasavvurundaki
estetik anlayışı, dîvân şiiri üzerinde göstermektir. Çalışma, Nâbî Dîvânı’ndaki
kaside ve tarih manzumeleri ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Başlangıçta kavramsal bir analiz yapılmış; âlem
tasavvuru, estetik, güzellik, mutlak güzellik üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca
güzelliğin kaynağı, güzelliğin âlem, şehir ve şehirli üzerindeki tezahürü izah
edilmiş ve modern sanat anlayışı ile İslamî sanat anlayışı arasında temel
ayrımlara değinilmiştir. Sonuçta dîvân şiirinin şehir ve şehirliyi kapsayacak
şekilde şehir tasavvurunun estetiğine kaynaklık ettiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract: Many studies on
aesthetics have been done in classical Turkish poetry; however, no aesthetic
studies were found on the city. In the study, the Ottoman city and urban
dwellers, which are reflected in the Nâbî Dîwân, are examined within the
framework of aesthetic theories. The aim is to show the aesthetic understanding
of the Ottoman city imagination on dîwân poetry. The study is limited to the
ode and date poems in the Nâbî Dîwân. A conceptual analysis was made at
the beginning; The concept of the universe, aesthetics, beauty, and absolute
beauty are emphasized. In addition, the source of beauty and the manifestation
of beauty on the world, city, and city-dwellers are explained, and the basic
differences between the understanding of modern art and the understanding of
Islamic art are mentioned. As a result, it was concluded that the dîwân poetry
was the source of the aesthetics of the city imagination, including the city
and the city dweller.
