Prof. Dr. SİNAN FİDAN

Prof. Dr. Sinan Fidan is a Full Professor in the Department of Aircraft Airframe & Powerplant Maintenance, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Kocaeli University (Türkiye), where he leads research on advanced tribology, laser surface engineering and hybrid composite design for aerospace, automotive and energy applications. Educated entirely at Kocaeli University (BSc 2002, MSc 2005, PhD 2011), he has since authored 166 scientific publications that have accumulated 465 Web of Science citations (h-index 12), 525 Scopus citations (h-index 13) and 854 Google Scholar citations (h-index 16), underscoring sustained, multi-platform impact.
