Waheeb Tashan received his B.Sc. and
M.Sc. degrees in Communication Engineering from the International Islamic
University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He obtained his
Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a focus on Wireless
Communication Systems, from Kocaeli University, Turkey, in 2023. He also served
as a TÜBİTAK researcher at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Faculty of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering. From December 2023 to April 2025, he worked as a
Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
at Istanbul Medipol University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kocaeli University.
His research interests include mobility management, handover, LTE/LTE-A, radio
propagation, indoor and outdoor wireless communication, IoT, 5G, and 6G. He has
published several papers related to radio propagation and mobility management.
