Abstract

BACKGROUND: Mechanical lithotripsy and/or stent insertion is the alternative therapeutic approach in difficult endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) case. This study was designed to investigate the appropriate treatment for extraction of bile duct stones in difficult cases of ERCP.
