International Case Studies in Visitor Attractions, Taylor & Francis Ltd, ss.47-54, 2026
Destinations can have multiple attractions, and highlighting these attractions is important for the future of destinations. It is recommended that attractions be developed with consideration for current conditions and that strategies be implemented in this context to increase tourism movements to destinations, spread them over 12 months, and reduce seasonality. This section features case studies developed for a fictional destination comprising two stages. First, the current situation of Frostreach, a region in Emberton that stands out in terms of winter tourism, was presented in the context of this type of tourism, along with the changes made by the city administration in the destination, taking into account its competitors in terms of attractions. Then, at this stage, discussion questions are provided to evaluate the case study in the context of regional developments. In the second stage of the case study, the current situation of Emberton City in terms of its attractions for spreading tourism activities over 12 months is presented. Finally, discussion questions are provided within the framework of the case study to increase the number of tourists to the destination’s attractions.
