Bu çalışma, özel güvenlik sektöründe yapay zekâ (YZ) teknolojilerinin çok boyutlu kullanımını, mevcut literatür ve endüstriyel uygulamalardan yola çıkarak ele almaktadır. YZ'nin sunduğu otonom gözetim, davranışsal analiz ve tahmine dayalı sistemler, güvenlik operasyonlarında eşi görülmemiş bir verimlilik ve proaktiflik sağlarken; bireysel mahremiyetin erozyonu, algoritmik önyargı ve siber güvenlik zaafiyetleri gibi karmaşık etik ve hukuki sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Makale, YZ'nin güvenlikteki uygulamalarını, teknik faydalarını ve potansiyel zararlarını, ilgili etik ve hukuki boyutlarıyla birlikte incelerken, bu alandaki güncel akademik yayınlara ve endüstri raporlarına atıfta bulunmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, YZ'nin güvenlikteki rolünün kaçınılmaz olduğu, ancak bu teknolojilerin insan odaklı, şeffaf ve sorumlu bir yönetişim çerçevesinde ele alınması gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır.
This study examines the multifaceted use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the private security sector, drawingon existing literature and industrial applications. While autonomous surveillance, behavioral analysis, and predictive systems offered by AI provide unprecedented efficiency and proactivity in security operations, they also raise complex ethical and legal issues, such as the erosion of individual privacy, algorithmic bias, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. This article examines the security applications of AI, their technical benefits, and potential harms, along with their relevant ethical and legal dimensions, while citing current academic publications and industry reports in the field. Ultimately, it emphasizes that the role of AI in security is indispensable, but these technologies must be addressed within a human-centered, transparent, and accountable governance framework.
