Abstract

The advantages and limitations of Tl-201 imaging in assessing the tumor response to anti-cancer therapy are discussed in this review. Tl-201 has distinctive advantages but more recent agents such as Tc-99m MIBI and positron emitters have some clinical superiorities over Tl-201 in this usage.
