Abstract

The aim of this study was to devise a process for the reuse of waste urea-formaldehyde resin obtained during the production of an ureaformaldehyde condensate used for chip-board production. For this purpose a waste solid urea-formaldehyde resin having a low activity index value is mixed with the urea and the possible use of this product is investigated as a slow-release fertilizer compared with different N sources at a rate of 100 ppm nitrogen.
