: Patriarchy in law can be understood through the titles that make this
relationship visible. At this point, the determinations and criticisms of feminist legal
criticism are important. The highlights of these criticisms are; the neutrality and universality
claim of law, the discourse of rights, the equality approach and the public/private space
distinction that emerges as an important duality of liberalism. Feminist criticism not only
makes determinations and criticisms about this relationship, but also offers its own
suggestions and alternative models at the point of transforming the law. In the study, both
these criticisms and suggestions will be included and the subject will be examined.
