On the Structure of Modular Fuzzy Metric Space

Özet

The purpose of this study is to introduce the concept of modular fuzzy metric space by combining modular metric space and fuzzy metric space (in sense of George and Veeramani). We investigate some properties of this new space and give some useful examples. We also give the concepts of convergence, Cauchy sequence and completeness in modular fuzzy metric space. Furthermore, the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point are handled.
