Bu çalışmanın amacı Giovanni Bottesini’nin “Allegro di Concerto alla Mendelssohn” adlı eseri ile Mendelssohn’un “Keman Konçertosu Op.64” eserinin 1. Bölümünün karşılaştırmalı analizleri ile sanatçılara armonik ve teknik özelliklerin tanıtılarak eserin daha iyi yorumlanmasını sağlamaktır. Bu makale “G. Bottesini’nin “Allegro di Concerto alla Mendelssohn” adlı eseri” başlıklı yüksek lisans tezinden üretilmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel bir veri analizi yöntemi olan doküman analizi yönteminden yararlanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eserlerin notaları doküman olarak belirlenmiş ve analizler bu dokümanlar üzerinden yapılmıştır. Bu eser Bottesini’nin, Mendelssohn’un estetik özelliklerini koruyarak kontrabas için bestelediği tek bölümlü konçertosudur. 4/4’lük zaman biriminde, Allegro (hızlı) tempoda, Mi minör tonunda ve tek bölümlü konçerto formunda yazılmıştır. Bottesini’nin Mendelssohn’dan melodik olarak esinlendiği ancak biçimsel olarak değişiklik yapmadan “Keman Konçertosu Op.64” 1. Bölümü model aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Allegro di Concerto biçimsel ve tonal açıdan model alınarak bestelenmiş eserler arasında çok başarılı bir örnek teşkil etmektedir. Kendisinden sonraki birçok besteci bazı parçaları model alarak eserler bestelemiştir.
The aim of this study is to provide a better interpretation of the work by introducing the harmonic and technicalfeatures to the artists through comparative analysis of Giovanni Bottesini's "Allegro di Concerto allaMendelssohn" and the 1st Movement of Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto Op.64". This article was produced from“G. Bottesini's Allegro di Concerto alla Mendelssohn work” titled master's thesis. This study was carried outusing the document analysis method, which is a qualitative data analysis method. The notes of the works weredetermined as documents and the analyzes were made based on these documents. This work is a single-movementconcerto composed by Bottesini for double bass, preserving Mendelssohn's aesthetic features. It was written in 4/4time, in Allegro (fast) tempo, in the key of E minor, and in the form of a single-movement concerto. It has beendetermined that Bottesini was inspired by Mendelssohn melodically, but took the 1st Movement of the "”ViolinConcerto Op.64" as a model without making any formal changes. Allegro di Concerto constitutes a very successfulexample among works composed on a formal and tonal model. Many composers after him composed works usingsome pieces as models.
