Özet

It is known that the scholars of the Andalusian region wrote works in the science of hadith, as well as many other sciences, and contributed to this science. It is seen in various sources that Eb Amr ed-Dani, a n i , one of the scholars who grew up in the region, was mainly proficient in the science of Quranic recitation but also wrote works on hadith and hadith methodology. Therefore, although his copyrights on this science are limited, his efforts and contribution to the science of hadith cannot be denied. However, it is seen that the research on Dani a n i is mainly shaped around his relationship with the science of recitation. In contrast, his connection with the science of hadith is generally left in the background and has not been examined sufficiently. Therefore, the article focuses on Dani's a n i 's relationship with the science of hadith and the works he compiled in this science. In the article, first of all, Dani's a n i 's life and scientific personality are briefly mentioned. Then, the works he wrote about hadith were identified. The works related to the hadith attributed to him in the sources are Kitab al-arba'at al-ehads a d s al-llati teteferra'a minha al-Sunan, , al-Sunan al-warida a rida fi al-fitan, , al-Murteka a fi sharh alMuntaka a li-Ibn al-Jard, a r d, al-Ad'iya bi'l-asar, a s a r , Ma'rifat al-turuk al-hadith ve Juz' f ulm m al-hadith f bayan a n al-muttasl wa al-mursal wa al-mewqf f wa al-munkati. . Brief information about these works is given based on the explanations given in various sources. Among these works, the work named Juz' f ulm m al-hadith f bayan a n al-muttasl wa al-mursal wa al-mewqf f wa al-munkati has a particular importance. In this work, hadith methodology subjects such as muttasil, munkati, mursal, mawkuf and tadlis are discussed. These issues, examined in detail in the work, are also present in various hadith method works. However, according to Dani, a n i , no independent works were written on these subjects in the Maghreb and Andalusia geography until his time. Moreover, he finds the narrations of the hadiths on these subjects insufficient and disorganized. For this reason, Dani a n i wanted to bring together the mentioned topics in a single book and wrote this work. The work was among the few independent hadith methodology sources written in the Andalusia region in the 5th century Hijri. i . The author created this work by making great use of the introduction part of Hakim a kim al-Nisabri's i s a b r i 's Ma'rifat al-ulm m al-hadith and his teacher Kabisi's a b i s i 's Mulahhis hh i s al-Muwatta'. '. The article focuses on the author's approach to hadith methodology issues by centering on this work. Dani's a n i 's perspectives on muttasil, musnad, munkati, mursal, mawquf, muan'an and tadlis are discussed. He associates the concept of muttasil with musnad. Initially, he defines muttasil before examining the issue in six separate chapters, discussing which types of narrations can be considered muttasil in each section, providing examples for clarification. Dani a n i indicates two different definitions of munkati, one of which refers to munkati as the opposite of muttasil. He mentions that the other usage is synonymous with maqtu. Another term he addresses in his work is mursal. After defining mursal, he discusses different types of mursal and illustrates them with examples. Regarding mawquf, Dana a n a refers to two types and discusses both kinds of narrations that can be considered mawquf. Regarding tadlis, he directly mentions the existence of six kinds of tadlis without providing a definition. Dana a n a explains these levels individually and provides general information about tadlis. Another notable aspect is Dana's a n a 's work being included in the post-Dana a n a hadith methodology literature. His name is frequently encountered, especially in Eastern hadith methodology works. To understand his influence on the Mashriq literature, references made to Dana a n a by leading hadith scholars are examined, and the contexts in which he is cited are discussed. Particularly, the utilization of Dana's a n a 's views in subsequent literature while evaluating hadith methodology issues underscores the significance of his work. In this context, brief mentions are made of scholars such as Ibn al-Salah, a h, Nawawa, a , Ibn 'Asim, Suyta, t a , Zarkasha, a , Ibn Ha- jar, who refer to Dana's a n a 's views and the issues they reference his opinions on. In conclusion, Dana's a n a 's work on hadith methodology, particularly its inclusion in the independent hadith methodology literature specific to the Andalusian region, highlights its importance. Furthermore, his influence on hadith scholars from the Eastern regions who authored foundational hadith methodology sources further underscores its significance. In particular, the references made to Dana a n a by these scholars demonstrate their awareness of his work and their utilization of his views in their own works.
