The purpose of this study is to determine the needs of Kocaeli University students in terms of personal, educational and vocational guidance and to contribute to the participation of students attending higher education in society as more qualified individuals. The population of the study is all the junior and senior students studying at Kocaeli University and the sample consists of 95 students chosen from this population to represent the students studying at the faculties. Descriptive survey model, a descriptive research method, has been used as a method in the study, and focus group method as data collection tool and data collected has been processed with NVIVO program. As a result of the study, it has been determined that KOU students suggested ideas about the perception of readiness for the occupation in terms of vocational guidance, readiness for the courses and inadequacy related to learning in terms of educational guidance and the fact that a person can improve himself.
