Abstract

A novel generic microstrip structure that can be used as both bandstop and bandpass filters is introduced in this paper. The design steps, numerical, simulations and experimentations are briefly discussed. Examples of microstrip electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) and bandpass filters are presented.
