Özet

Magnetic tweezers are able to manipulate cells or biomolecules for measuring their mechanical properties. Due to biocompatibility and a wide range of force generating capabilities, magnetic tweezers offer high potentials for biological separation, medical treatment, and biosensor developments. In this work, electromagnet needle and double electromagnets based magnetic tweezers for single molecule manipulations are designed and analyzed by using finite element based solvers for effective, low-cost and biocompatible designs.
