Abstract
In this review, I will try to determine the known genetic factors that play a role in the aging and to give a perspective on future studies. Evolution theory of life and loss of the effect of natural selection, aging takes place in a society based on taking care of old people. Studies on longevity in humans, have shown that some genotypes are more common among centenarians than younger ones. Thus there seem to be an association between longevity and certain genotypes of genes. Therefore the question is whether there are genes affecting lifespan in human and how they work?
