Abstract

Nanoparticles do not like to be alone. They like to be part of a group from the moment they are created due to their extremely large surface area. It is their "nature." In order to have nano-intensive products with exciting properties, one has to understand a great deal about this, often overlooked, nano-agglomeration behaviour.
