Weighted Trapezoid and Midpoint Inequalities and Applications: Bridging Classical and Fractional Integrals

Özet
This paper is aimed at extending classical midpoint and trapezoid inequalities by incorporating a weight function, which serves as a versatile tool to bridge these inequalities with their fractional integral analogues. By appropriate choice of weight functions, we establish generalized fractional versions of the inequalities for various types of fractional integrals, including Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals, conformable fractional integrals, and tempered fractional integrals. The proposed framework not only broadens the theoretical understanding of these inequalities but also facilitates their application to random variables.
