Özet

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is widely used in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, retail, and other industries to improve automation, operational efficiency, and traceability. In tire manufacturing, RFID tags enable product identification throughout the product lifecycle, supporting quality assurance, warranty management, and recall processes. This study presents an Industrial IoT (IIoT)-based software solution for automated quality control of RFID tags before production. Readability and writability of Tag 4 RFID tags were verified using a custom Android application developed for the Zebra MC3330xR handheld terminal with the Zebra RFIDAPI3 library. Tailored specifically for industrial environments, the proposed solution reduces operational costs while ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in RFID verification. Furthermore, the developed application establishes a digital production data collection infrastructure by automatically recording supplier information, lot number, box number, EPC information, and write operation status during every RFID verification process. This capability enhances production traceability, supports supplier quality monitoring, and provides a foundation for future data-driven quality analytics in Industrial IoT environments.
