Özet

Fusion of thermal and RGB images has emerged as an important research area, particularly in engineeringapplications such as computer vision, object detection, remote sensing, and medical imaging. Image fusionaims to transform images obtained from different sources into a single, more informative, high-qualityimage. In this process, wavelet-based methods such as the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) andStationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) are widely used to effectively combine the multi-scale and multi-frequency features of both thermal and RGB images. This literature review will focus on the applicationsof DWT and SWT-based fusion techniques to thermal and RGB images, and will examine existing methodsand recent developments in detail.
