Geleneksel kriminolojik profilleme, uzun yıllar boyunca kolluk kuvvetlerinin insan deneyimi ve
sezgisine dayalı temel bir soruşturma aracı olmuştur. Ancak, dijital çağın getirdiği veri patlaması, bu alanda
yapay zekâ (YZ) tabanlı yaklaşımları kaçınılmaz bir gereklilik haline getirmiştir. Bu makale, suçla mücadelede
kişi profili oluşturmak için kullanılan YZ tekniklerini, sunduğu operasyonel avantajları ve beraberinde
getirdiği kritik etik, sosyal ve hukuki zorlukları kapsamlı bir şekilde analiz etmektedir. Çalışma, YZ'nin suçla
mücadelede potansiyelini ancak adil, şeffaf ve insan merkezli bir yaklaşımla tam olarak gerçekleştirebileceğini
savunmakta, bu teknolojinin uygulanması için güçlü düzenleyici çerçevelere ve sürekli etik denetime olan
ihtiyacın altını çizmektedir.
For many years, traditional criminological profiling has been a fundamental investigative tool for law
enforcement, relying on human experience and intuition. However, the data explosion of the digital age has
made artificial intelligence (AI)-based approaches an inevitable necessity in this field. This article
comprehensively analyzes the AI techniques used to create criminal profiles, examining the operational
advantages they offer and the critical ethical, social, and legal challenges they present. The study argues that
AI can only fully realize its potential in combating crime through a fair, transparent, and human-centered
approach. It underscores the need for robust regulatory frameworks and continuous ethical oversight for the
implementation of this technology
