Abstract

Little is known about the risk of chronic kidney disease after kidney surgery in patients without preoperative renal impairment. A total of 1315 patients were analyzed in 8 European tertiary centers. The study focused on the occurrence of a newly diagnosed chronic kidney disease after partial nephrectomy. Risk stratification was determined using 4 independent risk factors.
