ABSTRACT
This study has been done to ascertain to what extent third (sub)lieutenant, who command after their education in
various places of country, gain military leadership features. For this aim, the necessary leadership features, which
can be measured or developed, have been clarified and according to frequency of occurence of these features in
the case of administrative function have been gotten from military eadership field manual. After this determining,
5 factors indiviual analysis and military leadership survey have been applied to candidates of military leader at
the beginning of education and their conclusions have been compared with military leader survey applied at the
end of education. As a result of this comparision, it has been searched to find which third lietutenant candidate in
character evidence develop to what extent which leadership feature or not. This study has been formed with two
parts. In the first part, concept of leadership and its development,concept of personality in the second part ;t test
and corelation analyses of surveys prepared for concepts which applied to 145 candidates of third lieutenant, have
been done and presented consequences.
