Özet

A patient monitoring system basically includes sensors and a microcontroller. The sensor devices that is capable of sensing many vital physiological and biological data such as body temperature, blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG), etc. from human body and sending them to the microcontroller using analog outputs. In this study, a real time infant monitoring system especially for hard of hearing parents, is developed. The proposed system works continuously in real time, monitoring vital physiological signals of an infant and generates alert (vibration and led blink) for abnormal situations. In alert case, both LCD screen and vibrating wristband which are attached to the body warns the parents. An Arduino Leonardo board has been used in system design which is attached by body temperature sensor, finger heartbeat detector and water sensor. The results show that physiological signals from the infant body can successfully and the all alarm condition function up properly.
