Abstract

Background: The QT dispersion (QTd) of the ECG is an indirect measure of heterogeneity of ventricular repolarization which may contribute to complex ventricular arrhythmias. We compared the effects of halothane and sevoflurane on QTd, and heart-rate corrected QT dispersion (QTcd).
