Oral lichen planus and leukoplakia, two diseases affecting oral mucosa where diagnosis and treatment is challenging for most dermatologists, are much easily diagnosed than other diseases as white plaques accompany. Besides complaints of the patients they cause, their malignancy potential make treatment and follow up of both diseases more important.
