Özet

This study investigated the interrelationships among job satisfaction, burnout, and

affective commitment on healthcare employees in Turkey during the Covid-19

pandemic. The fact that this research has yet to be found in the literature examining the

relationships between these variables during the Covid-19 pandemic indicates the

research's importance. Moreover, our study is conducted on a sample of healthcare

employees working at Kocaeli University Medical Faculty, the first hospital that has

EUMS (European Union Medical Specialists) accreditation in Turkey and is considered

a European Medical Training Center. The PLS-SEM technique was used to estimate

the measurement and structural parameters. The findings reveal that job satisfaction is

negatively associated with burnout. Moreover, the findings also show that the negative

relationship between internal satisfaction and reduced personal accomplishment is

stronger when affective commitment is higher.
