Abstract

Today, China is the fastest growing and most exporting country in the world. The electrical machinery and equipment industry ranks first in China's trade volume. Therefore, The study aims to determine the comparative advantage and competitiveness of China's electrical machinery and equipment industry over the years. For this purpose, Balassa's Revealed Comparative Advantages Index (RCA), Relative Export Advantage Index (RXA), Relative Import Advantage Index (RMA), Relative Trade Advantage Index (RTA), Relative Competitive Advantage Index (RC) were used. According to the results of the analysis, the competitive advantage of China in the world market is high in this sector.
