Nowadays, all data is transmitted over the Internet, which needs high protection for the transmission of original data from source to destination. The aim of this research is to develop a security measure that protects data from unauthorised access by using steganography technique to minimise the security problem against third parties who want to access confidential and personal information. Steganography is the technique of hiding encrypted information in normal images. In steganography, before the hiding process, the sender must select a suitable message carrier, an effective message to be hidden and a stego key used as a cipher. The purpose of steganography is to make coding more difficult and to ensure that changes in the carrier image due to the embedding of a secret image are not visually noticeable. Steganography techniques used in data embedding studies, which have an important place in the literature, and wavelet transform, one of the multi-scale methods that have emerged in recent years, using RGB image data, form the basis of this research.
