The vital purpose of the current study is to establish the analytic solution of fractional diffusion problem including Dirichlet boundary conditions. The fractional derivative is taken in the sense of proportional fractional derivative. Utilization of eigenfunctions to corresponding Sturm-Liouville problem provides the analytic solution in the Fourier series form. The presentation of illustrative examples demonstrates the effectiveness and accurateness of the proposed method.
