Abstract

BackgroundThis study investigated risk factors of childhood urinary tract infection (UTI) associated with extended-spectrum -lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria (ESBL-positive UTI) and evaluated antimicrobial resistance as well as empiric treatment of childhood UTI.
