We report two patients who presented with multiple dome-shaped papules scattered on their cheeks, nose and eyelids on both sides. In both patients, laboratory investigations including total blood count, biochemical profile, chest radiograph, and purified protein derivative test were normal. Histopathological examination of a skin biopsy from patient 1 revealed tuberculoid granulomas in the dermis, and a skin biopsy from patient 2 showed sarcoidal granulomas. Mycobacterium tuberculosis could not be detected by PCR in lesions. Diagnoses of lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei were made based on the clinical and histopathological findings, and oral isotretinoin treatment (40 mg/day) was initiated, The lesions of both patients showed marked improvement 4 months later.
