On Weak Forms of Some Sets in Topological Spaces

Özet

In 2006, the concepts of gδp-closed set and gδpr-closed set were introduced and studied by Ekici and Noiri. Ekici and Noiri presented the generalizations of normal, almost normal and mildly normal spaces by means of the concepts of gδp-closed set and gδpr-closed set in [2, 3]. The purpose of this study is to introduce and characterize the concepts of weakly gδp-closed set and weakly gδpr-closed set, which are the weak forms of gδp-closed set and gδpr-closed set, respectively. We investigate their basic properties in topological spaces. Also, the concepts of weakly gδp-open set and weakly gδpr-open set, which are the complements of weakly gδp-closed set and weakly gδpr-closed set, respectively, are introduced.The relationships between weakly gδp-closed sets and weakly gδprclosed sets, the relationships between gδp-closed sets and weakly gδp-closed sets and the relationships between gδpr-closed sets and weakly gδpr-closed sets are handled. On the other hand, the relationships of weakly gδp-closed sets and weakly gδpr-closed sets with the other some sets, which are studied in literature, are investigated.
