This study presents a novel MATLAB-based interactive software tool for the design, simulation, and analysis of the Lower Extremity Prosthesis Performance Test Platform (LEPPETEP). The system integrates a 6-DOF Stewart platform, a foot fixation mechanism, and an adjustable prosthetic holder within a fixed cage. LEPPETEP enables researchers to interactively modify structural parameters—including limb lengths and robot geometry—to optimize their robotic testing environment. The tool successfully performs gait analysis, cyclic, and static loading tests for both above-knee and below-knee prostheses. The design principles are demonstrated through an above-knee prosthetic case study.
