Abstract

Osseous dysplasia is an idiopathic process that is characterised by the replacement of normal bone with fibrous tissue and metaplastic bone. On radiographic images it may be predominantly radiolucent, predominantly radio-opaque, or mixed. We present a focal osseous dysplastic lesion with an unusual concentric, circular, radiographic appearance. (C) 2015 The British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
