Özet

Congenital anomalies in the tracheobronchial tree structure can lead to various respiratory problems during anesthesia. Tracheal bronchus is a congenial anomaly of the tracheobronchial tree structure; it is mislocalized in the tracheal bronchus orifice or at the superiority of the bifurcation of trachea or accessory bronchi may have developed. Endotracheal tube can occlude the tracheal bronchus orifice after the intubation, which can lead to ventilation problems. Identification of tracheal bronchus before anesthesia induction may help determination of the optimal position of the endotracheal tube. In this case report we presented a patient with tracheal bronchus which was detected in the fiberoptic bronchoscopy made due to respiratory problem emerged when the patient was under general anesthesia.
