Abstract

In this study, it was tried to identify the effect of radiation on the temperature scanning stress relaxation properties of lignin reinforced NBR elastomers. In order to determine the effect of ionizing radiation, the elastomers were irradiated with gamma rays up to 80 kGy in air atmosphere and at room temperature. Stress relaxation properties of the irradiated samples were investigated by using Temperature Scanning Stress Relaxation (TSSR) technique.
